Ugh. I'm all for listening to friends if they need advise or help but recently I feel like i've have just been someone to talk at.
I just had the worst ever phone conversation. Someone was talking about their problems and then I said like one sentence but when I finished talking I could still her her talking in the background. She didn't even notice I was saying something. With friends you shouldn't have to fight to be heard. They should ask you how you feel without you having to say anything. Listening to your friends goes two ways and I don't want to go through life just being an ear.
I think I have to stand up for myself more. I'm a wimp.
Do you ever wish you could just be invisible?
